Trip Connoisseurs is composed of a team of multicultural people who enjoy connecting travelers with the inside scoop about our world. Many of us have been working in the travel industry for over 30 years, thus we have a detailed knowledge of the destinations we represent and we are familiar with all corners of the world.
We have lived part of our lives in Asia, Africa and Europe, worked as local or national guides and have stayed in many hotels featured in our itineraries. We truly can say that we have been there and seen it.
Besides being business partners, we are also close friends.
Chris Wang >>
I was born and raised up in Northwest China in a small quiet city (by Chinese standard) that embraced many ethnic groups of people such as Chinese, Tibetan, Mongols, Muslim and others in a multicultural society. When I graduated from university, I worked as a seismologist and during that time I had the opportunity to get closer to the nature, to encounter the local inhabitants and to travel through the beautiful mountains and mighty rivers of the plateau. After a field trip to the source of the Yellow River in 1984, my heart told me that travel was my real passion. I listened to my heart, changed career and began working in the travel industry where I have remained ever since.
2016 marked my 32nd year working in the travel industry. These years were split almost equally half in Asia and half in North America.
I have travelled to many countries in Asia including China, Tibet, Hong Kong, Japan, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia. I have also travelled across Canada from coast to coast, and visited man places in the U.S. from Hawaii to Florida. Apart from my countless trips to Asia and North America, I have visited England and Scotland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Cuba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, the Bahamas, Panama, Columbia, Argentina and the Antarctica. My favorite place might be my next destination!
I love my career and I am delighted to hear when my clients enjoy the trips I have arranged for them. I look forward to working with you and to delivering the perfect trips full of memories that will stay with you always.
Kerry Ke >>
Kerry’s passion for travel came long before he joined the travel industry. By the age of ten, he had already visited many Asian destinations including China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau.
After obtaining an honors bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, Kerry started his career in the hospitality industry with his passion for food and travel.
As an independent traveler, Kerry has been planning his own travel itineraries since he was sixteen. Planning a customized tour for individual clients and small groups comes so naturally to him with his interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Kerry has very high standards and designs itineraries for his clients with as much care as he would for his own travel. Many clients appreciate his hard work and effort and call him a great representative of the company. To date, Kerry’s clients have travelled to all continents with the exception of Antarctica.
Kerry enjoys incorporating his other interests, such as cooking and driving, into his travels. Food plays a major role in Kerry’s trips as he searches for local delicacies and ethnic foods in each destination. Kerry also loves driving. He has driven along the Pacific coastline from California to British Columbia, the Atlantic coastline from Boston to Florida, around the Canadian Maritimes, from Vancouver to the Canadian Rockies, around the Great Lakes and more. During his many driving excursions, Kerry explores wonderful scenery not on the usual tourist route and enjoys beautiful moments between destinations.
Kerry is proficient in English, Chinese (Mandarin and Shanghainese), and understands Cantonese.
