Day 1: Arrive Taipei (B)

Arrive at Taipei Airport, where you will be transferred to your hotel by private vehicle (driver only).

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Taipei – Classic City Landmarks Tour (B)

At the pre-arranged time, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and begin your classic Taipei city tour.

Visit the renowned National Palace Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Chinese artifacts. Continue to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a significant historical monument, and Lungshan Temple, showcasing local religious traditions.

Also visit Taipei 101 (observatory not included), a symbol of the city’s modern development.

Overnight in Taipei.

Day 3: Taipei – Sun Moon Lake (B)

This morning, join a group tour from central Taipei to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area.

Explore Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan’s largest freshwater lake, and visit Ita Thao Village to learn about the indigenous Thao culture.

Continue to Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple, gaining deeper insights into the region’s cultural and spiritual significance.

Overnight at a 5-star hotel in Sun Moon Lake or Taichung.

Day 4: Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung (B)

Travel south to Tainan, Taiwan’s oldest city.

Visit Fort Zeelandia and stroll along Anping Old Street, known for its historic charm and local delicacies.

Continue to Kaohsiung and visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, home to a towering Buddha statue and an important Buddhist center.

Day 5: Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung (B)

After breakfast, head to Kenting National Park, known for its dramatic coastal scenery and tropical climate.

Visit Maopitou, Chuanfan Rock, Eluanpi Lighthouse, and Longpan Park.

Continue along the scenic South Link Highway to Taitung.

Overnight at a hot spring resort in Chihpen.

Day 6: Taitung – East Coast – Hualien – Yilan (B)

Travel along Taiwan’s scenic east coast, visiting Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, each known for unique geological formations.

Continue to Hualien and take a one-way train to Yilan.

Overnight at a 5-star hot spring hotel in Jiaoxi.

Day 7: Yilan – Taipei (B)

Visit King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery and the National Center for Traditional Arts.

Return to Taipei by coach and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Taipei.

Day 8: Taipei Departure (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport by private vehicle for your onward flight.
