DAY 1 ARRIVE CASABLANCA – RABAT

Arrive Casablanca early morning, meet our National guide and driver who will be with us throughout the journey. Immediately, we will start to explore Casablanca, Morocco’s largest metropolis and commercial hub.

Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, which accommodates up to 25,000 worshippers; its minaret stands as one of the tallest religious structure in the world. The Mohamed V Square with nickname as “Pigeon Square”.

After a photo stop at the “Rick Café” , we then walk along the Ain Diab Seaside and enjoy free time for lunch on own.

Afterwards, we continue travel to Rabat, capital of Morocco where we will visit the Royal Palace compound, the Mauresque-style Hassan Tower and square, may visit Mohammed V Mausoleum dedicated to the founder of modern Morocco

Take a stroll up the hill from the Medina and visit the well-preserved Oudaya Kasbah dating back to the 12th century.

DAY 2 RABAT – HERCULES CAVE – TANGIER (B)

This morning, drive up and along the coastline and veers inland through the forests of eucalyptus. En route to Tangier, visit the famous Hercules Caves which are dug into a cliff and offer splendid views over the ocean.

Spend the afternoon to explore this vibrant city with its historic legacies from European and Arab rule.

Visit the old Kasbah, including Jami’ al Qasba and the Grand Mosque of Tangier. Visit the 17th century Sultan’s palace, currently a museum of antiquities including Roman artifacts.
Visit the Medina and the Jewish Quarter with its many old Synagogues before ending at the port. Head to a traditional bazaar to browse colorful stalls replete with carpets and handicrafts .

DAY 3 TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN | BLUE CITY

This morning, drive to city of Tetouan, founded in the 15th century by Jews and Muslims fleeing persecution in Spain, offers a splendid medina and fine Spanish architecture with features redolent of the Alhambra. Upon arrival, explore the highlights of this UNESCO heritage site, the old Medina; Jewish quarter and the parade ground of the Royal Palace.

Then cross the Rif Mountains to the city of Chefchouan, known as the Blue City.

Chefchaoeun is a haven of tranquillity and peace, and a photographer’s dream setting. pend the afternoon explore arguably the prettiest town in Morocco with its incredible blue-washed buildings. Walk along the small alleyways you will find numerous beautiful house with various blue colour, doors and windows painted or carved, so many decorative setting for photograph, you surely will encounter lazy cat on every turn.

Tonight enjoy Chinese Food at Chengdu Restaurant on own which is walking distance from your Riad.

DAY 4 CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FEZ (B)

Today we journey overland to Fez via Volubilis and Meknes. It is around 3 hours drive and we will arrive to Moulay Idriss, a beautiful village with houses perched on the hillside with spectacular views over the town and surrounding hills all the way down to Volubilis.

We will book a private home for lunch on own account, maybe at the fabled Scorpion House if it is available as it has been featured in prestigious publications such as Travel & Leisure and Condé Nast Traveller.

After lunch, visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, with its triumphal arches, basilicas and Temple of Sun. In particular, its mosaic floors and Olive Oil workshop are among the greatest treasures and made here a UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.

On to Meknes, one of Morocco’s 4 imperial cities and also a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will see the most beautiful door in the world – Bab el Mansour gateway, Dar Jamal museum of musical instruments and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail with decoration of wood, ivory and ceramic tiles.

Upon completing visit to these two major sights, we continue to Fez.

DAY 5 FEZ | MEDIEVAL CITY (B)

Today we start to explore Morocco’s oldest imperial city with a comfortable walk through Medina, where we see some hidden treasures including the Blue Gate, the most picturesque of the Old City’s historic gates; the royal gates of the Royal Palace, the old Mellah (Jewish quarter) and authentic food market.

Drive up to the lookout point for a panoramic view of Fez, known as the “Athens of Africa”.

Visit some of traditional handicrafts workshops to watch artisans craft the acclaimed Fez pottery and ceramics, the pungent tanneries that Fes is famous for where you can see the giant dye pits below that are full of deep earthy tones.

We will view the intricately 14th-century Karaouine – one of the oldest, still-functioning universities in the world, and Nejjarine Square.

Tonight, enjoy an optional dinner and cultural show including belly dance at Palais La Medina , one of the most authentic place in town.

DAY 6 FEZ – ERFOUD | DESERT OASIS (B)

Today, we travel cross the fertile plains beyond Fez and en route marvelling at everyday life as we pass Berber villages, endless date palm plantations and the majestic Middle Atlas mountain range.

We stop in Midelt for lunch (own Account) and then continuing on, cross the Ziz River, passing rows of sky-scraping palm trees and fortified villages before reaching our resort hotel in Erfoud.

DAY 7 SAHARA | INTO THE DESERT (B/D)

This morning we visit Rissani, with its 18th-century ksar, a virtually impenetrable warren of alleys and the fossils gallery.

Afterwards, take 4X4 Jeep to our desert Camp at Erg Chebbi on the edge of the Sahara. Later, we set out on a walk through stunning reddish-hued sand dunes that can reach up to 500 feet high, creating an otherworldly landscape. In the enormous silence we watch the sun set over the desert.

Return to camp for a simple desert dinner before a campfire, along with entertainment by camp staffs. Then, slumber in comfort as the sounds of the desert lull you to sleep.

DAY 8 SAHARA – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU (B)

This morning, we will watch the sun rise of Sahara and take picture to record this memorable moments.

After check out, we will ride a camel along the edge of sand dunes and out of desert. It is over an hours ride that will give you a true experiences of people living in the world largest desert.

Afterwards, we are picked up by our bus and drive along the High Atlas with beautiful scene one after another. Stop in Tinehir village, a stunning mountain oasis on a series of riverside terraces lush with palm trees; we walk through spectacular Todra Gorge.

Visit El Kelaa des Mgouna, known for its roses, then set out on the ancient caravan route and reach the town of Ait ben-Haddou where we spend the night.

DAY 9 AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKESH (B)

Visit uninhabited Ait ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of southern Morocco’s most scenic villages that is often used as a location for fashion and film shoots. Its old section consists of deep red kasbahs packed together so tightly they appear to be a single unit.

Begin our descent from the High Atlas, the mountain road running zigzag with sharp turns. We then pass through typical villages with fortified walls and stone houses with adobe roofs.

Arrive Marrakesh and check into Riad, own exploration of Djemaa el-Fna, Marrakech’s main square filled with food stalls and vendors, along with fire-eaters, snake charmers and musicians performing at every turn.

DAY 10 MARRAKESH | RED CITY (B/D)

Once the capital of southern Morocco, Marrakesh is an alluring oasis with a temperate climate, distinct charm, and fascinating sights.

Discover the imperial city starting in the Medina which is a UNESCO World Heritage. Marvel at its architectural jewels, the beautifully proportioned Koutoubia Mosque including the soaring minaret, the lovely Andalusian-style El Bahia Palace, and the ruins of 16th-century Palais El Badii.

Tonight, enjoy a dinner and show at the famous restaurant “Chez Ali Fantasia” with spectacular horsemen from different Moroccan regions.

DAY 11 MARRAKESH / CASABLANCA (B)

This morning, visit Jardin Majorelle, a private botanical garden created by the French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years. It is known for its cobalt blue accents. You may also visit the nearby Yves St. Laurent Museum on own, housing a vast collection of the designer’s haute couture and design works.

Morocco has a few world famous restaurants listed on the “ THE WORLD 50 BEST” and there are two in Marrakesh. If you are interested, we can book table for lunch at Al Fassia.

After lunch, departure for Casablanca and on arrival check-into our hotel, we then take a walk in the area and may want to go to the Rick’s Café Casablanca for dinner, the place was designed to recreate the bar made famous by the movie classic Casablanca.

DAY 12 CASABLANCA – HOME (B)

This morning, transfer to Casablanca Mohamed V airport for flight home.
