Itinerary
DAY 1 — Arrival in Málaga → Granada (D)
Arrive in Málaga in the early afternoon, where you will be warmly welcomed at the train station by your tour leader, your companion for the next seven days exploring Southern Spain.
You will then transfer by private vehicle to Granada (approximately 1.5 hours), enjoying a scenic drive along the Andalusian coastline before arriving at your hotel in the historic centre.
After time to refresh, meet your group for a guided 1.5-hour orientation walk through Granada’s lively city centre. Wander through charming streets and historic squares while getting acquainted with the city’s layout and atmosphere.
The evening continues at one of your guide’s favourite local tapas spots, where you will enjoy traditional dishes and soak in the authentic Granadino ambiance before returning to your hotel.

DAY 2 — Montilla Countryside & Córdoba (B/L)
This morning, travel into the rolling hills of Montilla, a region celebrated for its gastronomy and heritage. Visit two family-run boutique establishments—an olive oil mill and a winery within the Montilla-Moriles designation of origin.
Learn about traditional production methods and enjoy tastings of award-winning products, accompanied by a delicious tapas-style lunch featuring regional specialties. Montilla is also historically associated with Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, the famed “Gran Capitán.”
In the afternoon, continue to Córdoba and enjoy a relaxed orientation walk through the historic centre and along the Guadalquivir River, gaining your first impressions of this atmospheric city.

DAY 3 — The Historic Splendour of Córdoba (B/L)
Begin the day with a guided walking tour of approximately three hours led by a historian, exploring Córdoba’s most important landmarks. Highlights include the Mezquita-Catedral, the Jewish Quarter, and the patios of San Basilio. Once a major Roman city and later a flourishing Islamic cultural centre, Córdoba reveals layers of history at every turn.
Lunch is served at the renowned Bodegas Campos, a traditional Córdoba house featuring elegant courtyards and a historic wine cellar. The afternoon is free for personal exploration or relaxation. In the evening, an optional equestrian show is available, showcasing the grace and artistry of purebred Andalusian horses in a historic setting.
DAY 4 — Medina Azahara, Carmona & Seville (B/L)
After breakfast and check-out, depart with your driver and art historian guide to visit Medina Azahara, located approximately 20 minutes north of Córdoba. This remarkable archaeological site, once the seat of the Caliphate of Córdoba, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guided visit includes an introductory presentation, a museum tour, and exploration of the ruins.
Continue toward Seville with a stop in the picturesque town of Carmona, often referred to as the “Shining Star of Andalucía.”
Enjoy lunch at the Parador, where sweeping views over the Guadalquivir valley provide a memorable backdrop. Founded by the Carthaginians, Carmona’s history spans millennia and reflects its strategic importance.
Arrive in Seville and enjoy a 1.5-hour orientation walk through the city, taking in highlights such as Murillo Gardens, Plaza de España, María Luisa Park, and the Torre del Oro.

DAY 5 — Seville: Culture, Grandeur & Flamenco (B/D)
This morning, discover Seville on a guided walking tour of approximately three hours with an expert art historian. With skip-the-line access, explore the city’s major landmarks including the Cathedral, the Royal Alcázar, and the Santa Cruz Jewish Quarter. Seville’s historic centre is a captivating blend of Mudéjar palaces, baroque churches, and winding medieval streets, reflecting its rich Moorish and Renaissance heritage.
The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace, whether enjoying shopping, relaxing, or further discovering the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
In the evening, experience the passion of flamenco at one of Seville’s most emblematic tablaos, accompanied by a refined à la carte dinner featuring Andalusian cuisine.
DAY 6 — Seville – Ronda – Málaga (B/L)
After checking out, travel through the scenic Andalusian countryside passing rolling hills, olive groves, and whitewashed villages.toward the dramatic mountaintop town of Ronda.
Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a 2.5-hour walking tour of Ronda. Explore the historic old town, admire the breathtaking El Tajo Gorge, and cross the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge, which connects the old and new quarters of the city. The tour also includes a visit to the Plaza de Toros, one of Spain’s oldest and most significant bullrings.
After the tour, enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Reina Victoria Hotel, where panoramic views over the cliffs provide a perfect setting to relax. In the afternoon, continue to Málaga (approximately 1.5 hours) and check into your centrally located hotel.
The evening is at leisure to explore the city, whether strolling along the port, enjoying tapas, or relaxing with a glass of wine.

DAY 7 — Málaga & Departure (B)
Meet your private art historian guide for a 2.5-hour walking tour of Málaga. Begin with an orientation through the historic old town, followed by a guided visit to the Picasso Museum, highlighting the artist’s connection to his birthplace. Along the way, discover key landmarks including the Renaissance Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba, and the city’s vibrant squares such as Plaza de la Merced and Plaza de la Constitución.
Málaga’s rich 3,000-year history unfolds through its Phoenician, Roman, Moorish, and Christian heritage, making its historic centre feel like an open-air museum.
