Day 1 Airport – San Salvador
Today, you will arrive to San Salvador.On arrival, our representative will assist you and transfer you to San Salvador city.

Day 2 San Salvador city tour (B)
Today, we will visit the main streets and monuments of San Salvador, the historic city center: the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, the National Theatre, the Rosario Church and the Anthropology Museum.Then, visit Boquerón Volcano and enjoy a panoramic view of the crater with its particular “volcancito” or “little volcano” inside. When returning, you will be able to see the beautiful city of San Salvador in the late afternoon.
At the end, delight yourself with a warm and tasting cup of coffee or a delicious typical early dinner at a local restaurant in the area, where you will also be able to taste the famous Salvadoran dishes: “Las Pupusas”.
Day 3 Mayan route and volcanoes (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the “Pompeii of America,” the archaeological site of Joya de Cerén, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Joya de Cerén was covered by the explosion of the Loma Caldera volcano, preserving the remains of the pre-Hispanic civilization for hundreds of years.Then visit San Andrés, a ceremonial site. Later, transfer to the Lake and Volcanoes Complex, cataloged as the “2nd 8th Wonder of the World for 2013.” This area brings together one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and a group of the most remarkable volcanoes of El Salvador: Izalco Volcano, Santa Ana Volcano and Cerro Verde Volcano.
Visit the natural protected area of Cerro Verde and take a sightseeing walk through the eco trails of the park (approximately 45 minutes). From here, enjoy panoramic views of Izalco Volcano, known as the “Lighthouse of the Pacific,” Santa Ana Volcano (Ilamatepec), and the surrounding natural beauty. The landscape is unique in Mesoamerica and well worth the visit.
Day 4 Suchitoto day tour (B)
Visit the enchanting city of Suchitoto, also known as the “Place of Flower Bird” in Nahuatl. The city offers a preserved colonial atmosphere where time seems to have stopped.Explore its cobbled streets, art galleries, and handicrafts, and visit Santa Lucia Church, built in 1853. The city is known as the “Cradle of History and Culture” for its rich heritage.
Day 5 El Salvador – Managua
This morning, transfer to El Salvador airport for your onward flight to Nicaragua.On arrival at Managua International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred by private car during a scenic 2-hour drive to Nekupe Sporting Resort and Retreat, Nicaragua’s first and most luxurious countryside getaway, set within a 1,300-acre nature reserve.

Day 6 Nekupe resort at leisure (B/L/D)
At Nekupe, enjoy the great outdoors at your leisure: play tennis, explore the reserve on foot or via ATV, go birdwatching, or visit the private shooting range.Overnight at Nekupe Resort.

Enjoy a variety of experiences including rope courses, private cooking lessons, rum tastings, daily yoga, pool time with panoramic views, or spa treatments designed for relaxation and wellness.Overnight at Nekupe Resort.
Day 8 Nekupe – Mombacho Volcano Reserve – Granada
Morning at leisure at Nekupe.After check-out, transfer to Granada with a visit en route to Mombacho Volcano Reserve. This cloud forest is rich in lush vegetation and biodiversity.
A park ranger will guide you along the trails near the summit (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes), sharing insights into flora, fauna, and local history.

Day 9 Granada
Visit a local cigar factory to learn about the history of tobacco, from pre-Columbian traditions to refined cigar craftsmanship.Explore Granada, founded in 1524 and one of the oldest European settlements in the Americas. Enjoy a carriage ride through cobbled streets, followed by visits to La Merced Church and Convento San Francisco, known for its pre-Columbian artifacts.
In the afternoon, participate in a chocolate workshop at the Choco Museum and enjoy a relaxing boat trip around the islets of Lake Nicaragua.
Day 10 Masaya Volcano, Lake Nicaragua, Granada
Visit Masaya Volcano National Park, established in 1979. Explore trails around the active Santiago crater.Continue to Masaya Market to experience local crafts and culture.
In the afternoon, enjoy the Jueves de Verbena cultural event with local food and festivities.
Later, relax on a boat ride across Lake Nicaragua, surrounded by scenic islands and views of Mombacho Volcano.
Day 11 Granada – Managua – Guatemala City
This morning, depart for Managua and enjoy a city tour.Stop first at Tiscapa Crater Lake, where you can take in the scenery and a statue of General Sandino. Then, head to the old city, where you’ll visit the National Palace and Museum, the president’s house, and the old cathedral. Continue to the Roberto Huembes Market, where you can see the locals shopping for their daily needs, and end up spending some leisure time at Puerto Salvador Allende.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Guatemala City.
Reception at the airport “La Aurora”, upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala for overnight accommodations.

Day 12 Antigua Guatemala (B/L)
Visit to the most important and significant attractions of the city including Antigua’s most beautiful churches, monasteries, convents, and the cultural center. This city is among the world’s best conserved colonial cities, it is a magical and captivating small city that will make you feel time stopped some 300 years ago. From its colonial architecture to its beautiful surroundings; strolling through town on the cobbled streets, you will experience the splendors of ancient times.For lunch we have prepared a really nice lunch in one of the best restaurants of the country.
In the afternoon visit San Antonio Aguascalientes where you will be able to experience the exceptional weavings and fabric your own souvenir. A local will teach you their ancient techniques.
Day 13 Coffee plantation – Antigua Guatemala (B/L)
Visit to one of the oldest coffee plantations in Guatemala.During this tour you will have the opportunity to discover how coffee is made. Our guide will show the whole process since the beans are picked up in the plantation until it is served as one of the best coffees in the world. This will be a very interesting experience that will teach you all the hard work that takes to make a cup of coffee and the people who are involved.
In the afternoon, we will take you to your Spa session , where you can enjoy of a relaxing experience. When finished transfer back to your hotel in Antigua for overnight accommodations.
Day 14 Chichicastenango and Iximché (B/SN)
Visit to the archaeological site of Iximché, also known as “The Land of Corn”. This city was the first capital of Guatemala and the last Mayan City.Experience for yourself a place fulfilled with mysticism, being the city that witnessed the conquer of the Spanish and a place for Mayan rituals. After the visit you’ll be transferred to Chichicastenango’s market, the most colorful and exciting place in the Mayan Highlands and the only place in Guatemala of 100% Quiche population. Admire the historical and mystic Church of Santo Tomás, where the Mayan bible was discovered. Be the witness of Mayan ceremonies inside the church, where you can presence their gifts to the Mayan God’s.

Day 19 Lake Atitlán – San Juan La Laguna (B)
Visit to Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. The word “Atitlán” is a Mayan word that translates as “the place where the rainbow gets its colors”. Panajachel is an 800 year old town of about 14000 people, mostly Kaqchikel Mayas and some foreigners from every corner of the globe, living inside that rainbow. Upon arrival discover the magic that surrounds all its greatness while taking a boat to cross the lake and visit a Tzutuhil Village. This place is known for being one of the most authentic and best kept secrets in Guatemala.The visit will begin with a Cultural tour visiting the different workshops where you discover how a women’s weaving cooperative continues the traditional methods of dying thread with native plants. Observe the process of extracting natural dyes used to create extraordinary textile products. The experience will continue with an explanation of the murals, visit to the church and local houses. Time to have lunch in one of the most exquisite restaurants with a magnificent view.
