Day 1 SANTIAGO
Arrival at the airport of Santiago de Chile and transfer to your hotel.

This afternoon, take a city tour of Santiago featuring the Palacio de la Moneda, the nerve center of the Chilean government and a stunning example of neo-classical architecture. See the Plaza de Armas and the bustling Mercado Central.

Day 2 SANTIAGO
Full day excursion to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar
The tour leaves Santiago in western direction. Arriving in Valparaiso, you pass by the main square where you can view the monument honouring the Naval Battle fought in 1879. Driving towards the southern side of the city and seeing the old funiculars you will drive up a hillside for a most spectacular view of the bay seeing Valparaiso’s downtown district and its adjoining hills.

Then proceed to the lower level of the city through the commercial heart of the port, where you’ll take the coastal highway that links Valparaiso with the resort city of Viña del Mar. Reaching the Concón beach, you can admire various fish stands displaying a great variety of seafood. Summer homes and restaurants are spread out along the coast. Afterwards, visit the main square Plaza Vergara and the shopping avenue before returning to Santiago.

Day 3 SANTIAGO – PUERTO MONTT – PUERTO VARAS
Fly to Chile’s beautiful lake district, one of South America’s most popular surface crossings via a series of motor coaches and boats through spectacular scenery and Azul-blue lakes. Enjoy a private panoramic tour of the area. Then, continue on to your hotel at the edge of Lake Llanquihue.

Day 4 PUERTO VARAS – PUERTO MONTT – SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE
Today, you will enjoy a full-day lake crossing by coach bus. Visit the Petrohue Falls before boarding a launch that crosses Lago Todos los Santos to Peulla. Enjoy lunch on your own. Continue by coach to the Argentine border followed by more lake crossings. A final boat ride takes you to the port of Llao Llao on the outskirts of Bariloche, arriving by evening.

Day 5 BARILOCHE
After breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure in this charming city at the base of the Andes, famous for its chocolates and Swiss-style architecture. Enjoy a hike through forested hills or a meal at many of the local restaurants, cafes and chocolate shops.

Day 6 BARILOCHE – BUENOS AIRES
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Fly to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. Take in an optional authentic Tango show with dinner or simply enjoy your evening at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast, take a half-day private city tour accompanied by your own guide to discover Buenos Aires including Plaza de Mayo, the historic Cabildo, Casa Rosada, Congress Palace and the quaint La Boca district.

Day 8 BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast, enjoy your day at leisure to explore the city. Stop at one of many European-inspired gardens throughout the city.

Day 9 BUENOS AIRES – IGUASSU FALLS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Iguassu Falls. On your full-day private tour with guide, explore the Argentinean side of the falls from Iguassu National Park; visit the lower and upper paths to admire the awe-inspiring 275 cascades that span across a 2-mile gulf. Take a train to reach Devil’s Throat, the longest walkway over the cascading river. Lunch not included.

Day 10 IGUASSU FALLS – RIO DE JANEIRO
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Brazilian side of the falls to see this natural wonder from a different perspective. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 11 RIO DE JANEIRO
After breakfast, a private guide will show you the magnificent sites of Rio during a half-day tour followed by a spectacular cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain. Your senses will be fully engaged as you discover that a visit to Rio is truly magical. Also visit the H. Stern Gem Factory. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 12 RIO DE JANEIRO – HOME
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
