Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. India’s capital, Delhi blends the old with the new providing an interesting combination.

Day 02: In Delhi (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Visit New Delhi: where you will visit the Presidential Palace, the Secretariat Buildings, the impressive Rajpath, India Gate, and Old Fort. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb and Delhi’s most curious antique, the Iron Pillar dating back to the 4th century AD.

Rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 03: In Delhi (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Visit Old Delhi, the 300 year old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648,  visit Chandi Chowk and enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride– the heart of Old Delh. Also visit the magnificent Red Fort built of red sandstone and the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Later visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in 1948.

In the evening, experience a sumptuous dinner at the Buhkara Restaurant which has been voted the best Indian restaurant in the World.

Day 04: Delhi – Udaipur by air (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Transfer to airport to board flight for Udaipur. (9W707 -1120/1230 Hrs)

Meet assist on arrival and transfer to Hotel.

Afternoon: visit Udaipur, which will include a visit to the City Palace, which stands, on a ridge overlooking Lake Pichola. It is an imposing structure and the largest Palace in Rajasthan. You will see sumptuous apartments, fine paintings and visit roof gardens with spectacular views. Continue to the Jagdish Temple, an Indo-Aryan temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and also visit the Folk Art M with its collection of dresses, dolls, masks, musical instruments, paintings, and puppets.

Late afternoon: Cooomon Boat ride at Lake Pichola – during boat ride you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. Visit the Jag Mandir Palace -the other island palace in the middle of the lake.

Day 05: In Udaipur (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Excursion to Nathdwara and learn about the art of Pichwai Paintings traditionally done in a variety of media – brocaded, block printed, embroidered or worked in gold. There are 24 iconographic renderings of the Krishna Legend traditionally portrayed in the Nathdwara Pichwais.

Day 06: Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur by surface (260 Kms./ 5 Hrs) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Drive to Jodhpur, lunch at Hotel Fatehbagh Palace. After lunch visit Ranakpur, is widely known for its marble Jain temple, said to be the most spectacular of the Jain temples (Temples opens from 1200 to 1600 hrs for the public daily). Light colored marble has been used for the construction of this grand temple. The temple, with its distinctive domes, shikhara, turrets and cupolas rises majestically from the slope of a hill. Over 1444 marble pillars, carved in exquisite detail, support the temple.

Day 07: Jodhpur (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Visit Jodhpur. Mehrangarh Fort. Unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, it is one of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort are interspersed with sprawling courtyards. Jaswanthada, the 19th century Royal Cenotaph and museum are located in the Umaid public garden which you will visit.

Afternoon: return to your hotel where you can visit the Umaid Bhawan Museum. A portion of the Umaid Bhawan Palace has been converted into a museum. The architectural splendors of these remnants will enthrall you.

Day 08: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer by surface (290 Kms./ 5 Hrs) (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Drive to Jaisalmer, the Citadel City. On the way pass camel carts, vibrant and colorful Rajasthani women carrying produce to the market and men sporting brightly colored turbans.

On arrival, check into your hotel. Evening free to relax.

Day 09: In Jaisalmer (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Morning: visit Jaisalmer. An exciting day awaits. Almost 900 years old, Jaisalmer was a major post on the trade route across the forbidding Thar Desert, and still today, one’s first glimpse of the honey colored walls of the fort, rising out of the hot and barren desert is magical, untouched by time, Jaisalmer, with its golden crenellated walls and narrow streets lined with exquisite havelis, has a medieval ambience. The havelis in both the fort and the town are exceptional. Similar in style to the homes of Venetian merchants, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli the mansions of wealthy traders. The houses are decorated with beautifully carved facades, jali screens and oriel windows, each with an inner courtyard surrounded by richly decorated apartments.

Late afternoon:  you will experience a Sunset Camel ride on the Sam Sand Dunes. A trip to Jaisalmer is in incomplete without this visit to the panoramic Dunes of Sam where the wind is unceasingly carving out scenic patterns on this desert sand. By visiting the Sam Sand Dunes, it is possible to get an insight into desert life. Camel rides on the Sand Dunes are a thrilling experience as is the brilliant sunset.

Day 10: Jaisalmer – Bikaner by surface (325 Kms./ 6 Hrs ) (B/D)

Day 12: In Jaipur (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Morning: visit Amber Fort and enjoy an elephant ride.
Situated in Amber, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, Amber Fort is one of the most famous forts of Rajasthan. Built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake down below adds a charm to the entire Fort. It boasts of various buildings of prominence like the ‘Diwan-i-Aam’, the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ and the ‘Sukh Mahal’ and has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. En-route to Amber Fort, make a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal “the Palace of Winds”.

Afternoon: Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace. A complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings, the impressive City Palace is right in the centre of the Old City, with an imposing blend of traditional Rajput and Mughal architecture. Also visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO world heritage site, the largest of five astronomical observatories build by Maharaja Jai Singh during the period 1727-1734 in North India.

Day 13: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra by surface (240 Kms./ 5 Hrs) (B/L/D)

Drive to Jaipur, Lunch at local restaurant in Bharatpur.
Then proceed to Agra, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri – “The City of Victory” or the abandoned red sandstone city, was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only 10 years and is believed to be abandoned due to scarcity of water.

Day 14: Agra – Delhi by surface (205 Kms./ 4 Hrs) (B/D)
Breakfast at Hotel.
Morning: visit Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – Construction of this massive red-sandstone fort, on the bank of the Yamuna River, was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565. The fort was built primarily as a military structure, but Shah Jahan transformed it into a palace, and later it became his gilded prison for eight years after his son Aurangzeb seized power. Also visit Mother Teresa orphanage.

Late afternoon: Visit Taj Mahal at sunset, to watch one of the most well preserved and architecturally beautiful tombs in the world, a mausoleum of white marble, built between 1631 and 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife.

Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday.

Drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at Hotel
