Day 01 (FRI) MEXICO CITY
Arrival at Mexico City airport, reception and subsequent transfer to your hotel.

Free time in accordance with arrival time.

Day 02 (SAT). MEXICO CITY – CITY VISIT AND ANTHROPOLOGY MUSEUM (B)
Breakfast at your hotel.

This morning, enjoy a city tour through the main streets of Mexico City, starting at the so called “Centro Histórico” (Historical Center) wherein the “Great Tenochtitlán”, of the Aztec Empire was founded. We shall visit the Main Plaza called “El Zócalo” and the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, the Fine Arts Palace amongst other places of interest.

Continue through Reforma Avenue where you may see several monuments which have given identity and popularity to the city, such as the “Independence Angel”, the statue of Diana (virginal roman goddess of the hunt and the moon) and the Bicentennial Column. Arrival at the Anthropology Museum, one of the most important museums of the world due to the fact that it keeps the most extensive anthropological collection of the Meso-American cultures among which are: the Monument to the Sun, better known as the Aztec Calendar and the Coatlicue Goddess and many others.

Free activities during the afternoon or return to your hotel.

Day 03 (SUN). MEXICO CITY – GUADALUPE SHRINE – TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel.

Morning excursion to the Tlatelolco area wherein we shall visit the “Three Cultures Plaza”, this name was given to this place because it contains the architecture of three different historical periods of Mexico. We shall continue towards the Guadalupe Shrine which is the most visited church to honor Virgin Mary in America, and one of the most important ones in the world which keeps the “ayate” (typical cape used by most Mexican country-land workers and harvesters) wherein Virgin Mary’s image appears.

Afterwards we shall continue to the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan called “City of Gods” and you will be able to see the most important buildings such as the Pyramid dedicated to the Sun and the Pyramid dedicate to the Moon as well as the “Road of the death”, amongst others.

Lunch at a restaurant in this area and in the afternoon, return to Mexico City.

Day 04 (MON). MEXICO CITY – VILLAHERMOSA – PALENQUE (B/D)
Breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to the airport and departure to the Mexico City Airport to take flight to the City of Villahermosa, arrival at the airport then transfer to the hotel in Palenque (Flight not included).

Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel tonight.

Day 05 (TUE). PALENQUE – CAMPECHE (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit the archaeological area of Palenque, located at the jungle. One of the most important in the Mayan World. Both, due to the historical discoveries as for its beauty. Within the Pyramid of inscriptions there was found a Tomb of the Pakal King with an engraved inscription in it. Cross temple, Sun’s temple and the Palace.

We will continue our tour to enjoy a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico to reach the beautiful city of Campeche surrounded by barriers.

Day 06 (WED). CAMPECHE – UXMAL – MERIDA (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure towards Uxmal, deemed as one of the most representative and antique cities in the PUUC area.

Visit to this archaeological area of great architectural beauty: The Pyramid of the Fortune- Teller, the Nuns Quadrangle, the Palace of the Governor and the Ball’s Game. Lunch and following a trip to “The White City” wherein we will enjoy a panoramic tour: Paseo de Montejo where we will see the Monument to our country, the Main Plaza and the Cathedral and the Government Palace.

Day 07 (THU). MERIDA – CHICHEN ITZA – CANCUN (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure towards Chichén itzá, the best known Mayan City in Mexico. It was declared by UNESCO as a worldwide patrimony and one of the “Seven New Marvels of the World”. An archaeological site where an advanced archaeological and astronomic knowledge was revealed. It has a Pyramid with stairs called “The Castle” or “Kukulkan’s temple”, the ball game, the Skeletons Platform, the temple of the jaguars, the Observatory, the One thousand Columns Plaza and the Sacred Pond.

Arrival at the majestic “Ik il pond” where we may be able to swim and to have lunch.

Afterwards we shall continue our trip towards Cancun or the coastal region named “The Mayan Riviera”.
