Description

Day 1 Bangkok – Arrival
For many travellers, Thailand is the perfect gateway to Southeast Asia and its exotic delights. Straddling the great Chao Phraya River, 12 miles upstream from the Gulf of Thailand, Bangkok is an exuberant and exhilarating metropolis of seven million people. Founded by Rama I in 1782, it is one of the world’s most exciting cities, highly regarded for its trendy nightclubs, cosmopolitan dining scene, and its markets, magnificent temples and palaces, offering something to everyone.

Arrive at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport where you will be met and greeted by a local representative, waiting for you at the exit gate with a signboard. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be free: you can enjoy the facilities of your hotel, explore the surroundings or rest at leisure.

Day 2 Bangkok (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel before your morning excursion: Half Day Grand Palace, City & Temples excursion (Schedule time 08.30 – 12.30hrs)

Enjoy the most popular introductory tour  inside bustling Bangkok. It features the “Wat Traimit” with its 5, 5-ton heavy Golden Buddha Image, and then pass through Bangkok’s China Town with its typical red-painted gold shops. Visit the Royal Grand Palace, and then go through the dazzling Wat Phra Kaew with its revered Emerald Buddha, Golden Chedi, and Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and the Eight Coloured Towers. Next on the program is the Wat Po with its Reclining Buddha image. Wat Pho is also regarded as the first centre of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple-educated people on varied subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and to be considered, home of the Thai traditional massage We end the tour with a visit to the Wat Benchamaborpit (also known as the Marble Temple); a representation of an outstanding success of marriage between Italian marble and classical Thai architecture. Especially for those interested to know a bit more about Buddhism and its history, combined with the always-busy city life.

Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Tonight, you will be picked up at your hotel in town and transfer for an exciting evening of food and tuk tuks! Two of the things that Bangkok is most famous for and one of the best way to spend an evening!

On this food tour we combine a little bit of mystery for a fantastic evening of eating and adventure as we whizz around Bangkok.
We will whizz off to pick up some street snacks in a local street food paradise where will we sample a selection of items ranging from one of Bangkok’s most famous pork satays (Moo Satay) to fresh spicy chili dips (Nam Prik).

What will follow is a diverse range of unique food stops and a little bit of mystery. We will change some of the stops on a regular basis to add an element of mystery but you will no doubt sample a combination of curries, regional specialties and sweet surprises as we go. At at least one of the stops we will grab a beer with your food. We will finish in Chinatown – possibly Bangkok’s most famous street for street food. Here
we will sample a selection of Chinese Thai desserts including the famous sesame dumplings in ginger soup (Bua Loy Nam Ging).

Day 3 Bangkok (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and full day at leisure to enjoy the nice surroundings of Bangkok. If interested, your guide will be happy to recommend a range of exciting optional excursions.

Day 4 Bangkok – Hong Kong (B)
Your day is free at leisure until time for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong.

Once home to fishermen and farmers, modern day Hong Kong is an abounding, commercially-vibrant city where Chinese and Western cultures intertwine.

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you will be met and greeted by a local representative, waiting for you at the exit gate with a signboard. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be free: you can enjoy the facilities of your hotel, explore the surroundings or take a rest.

Day 5 Hong Kong (B)
This morning, you will be picked up from the hotel by an English speaking guide for Hong Kong Island Tour. Take the Star ferry to the island. Walk along on Hong Kong Island, the business and financial hub of Hong Kong is a glittering show of mirrored towers, multi-million dollars high-rises and designer shops. You will discover that behind this modern and rather Western façade lie charming reminders of Hong Kong’s colonial past.

Take a 800-metre, world longest outdoor escalator to Hollywood Road, this area has been long famous for its many antique and curio shops. It’s a browser’s paradise with everything from Chinese black wood furniture, calligrapher sets, wall scrolls and porcelain. Built in 1847, the little Man Mo Temple on Hollywood road is another attraction.

Walk from Ladder Street to Western district, one of the oldest residential on the island, this area is also known as the centre of the city’s wholesale ginseng and medicinal-herb trade. Take a tram ride to Admiralty, Hong Kong is one of the very few places in the world that still has trams.

Continue along the coastal line via Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay to visit the Stanley markets where you can pick up some great bargains.  Continue to Aberdeen fishing village, the floating village for fisherman (sampan ride at Aberdeen included) before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 6 Hong Kong (B/Snacks)
Morning is at leisure to pursue own interest.

In the afternoon, enjoy a Foodie Walking Tour of Hong Kong!

Hong Kong is a “Food Paradise”, a huge variety of cuisine could find in the city!
This intriguing tour will offer a unique chance for you to explore what and where the local people to get their food, and to experience different kinds of local delicacy which you may not find in other place!

Take the Mass Transit Railway (MTR), one of the most efficient public transportation system in Hong Kong to travel between the points of interest. This guided walk introduces you the food culture of the Chinese people and visit the local wet market. Followed by explore different kinds of local delicacy in Mong Kok area such as fish ball, BBQ pork, Won Ton noodle, egg tart, Hong Kong style milk tea, desert etc. Make sure you have enough space in your stomach!

Day 7 Hong Kong (B)
Transfer to the Airport for homeward flight.
