Your tour continues with a visit to Pura Batukaru, a Hindu temple on the slopes of Mount Batukaru. Originally built in the 11th century and rebuilt to its current form in 1959, the temple has a seven-tiered structure of meru (shrines) dedicated to the god Mahadewa. Pura Batukaru is the starting point of your two-hour cycling. From here, you will embark on a leisurely ride through picturesque villages and lush scenery, passing through the village of Jatiluwih. Continue to drive to the north, ascending further into the hills to reach Lake Bratan. Set on the shore of the lake, the iconic Pura Ulun Danu is one of Bali’s most sacred and iconic Hindu temples.
